Discover the numerous ways in which RIPACKŪ shrink guns can be used in picture format.
Shrink wrapping is required:
- When stretch wrapping proves impossible due to weight and instability:
With unstable loads, given that stretch film should, if it is to be efficient, apply horizontal pressure on the load. That is why stretch wrap cannot be used in the case of unstable items like empty bottles, or even full ones, empty metal or aluminium containers, lightweight or small cardboard boxes (lightweight or loose items).
- When stretch wrap is too weak:
If you wish to wrap items with sharp or cutting edges (bricks, cement panels, etc.), shrink film is the solution.
- When weather protection is required:
Total protection of 5 sides prevents rain or snow damage under the film. Stretch wrap is not 100 % trustworthy, even with a sheet of plastic over it.
- When you need to protect against theft:
It is very easy to buy a roll of stretch film to disguise an opening made in stretch wrap. Such masking is impossible with shrink wrap.
- When merchandise must arrive in perfect condition:
It is easy to demonstrate that shrink film offers much better results in terms of solidity than stretch wrap, and that you can rely on shrink wrap if you want merchandise to arrive anywhere in the world in the same state that it left the warehouse. When the pallet or load is transferred several times during the shipping process (from boat to truck, then to other trucks), strength is of the essence.
- When a single item needs to be protected and wrapped:
Bicycle, ladder, chair, spool of metal, hose, etc.
- When an item is long, wide or tall:
Everything can be wrapped in flat film.
